Explore and play in this lush ecosystem, part of the Indian River.
Paddle through mangroves and salt marshes. Slip quietly under the
branches as you kayak the narrows. Enjoy your lunch on a secluded beach.

Fork of the St. Lucie River Water Management Area & Hiking Trail

Enjoy a leisurely paddle up the South Fork and a one mile hike through
a South Florida Water Management District and "Florida Save Our
Rivers Program" hiking trail where you will see distinct vegetation.
Torry Island/Kreamer
Island on Lake Okeechobee
Belle Glade, FL (40 minutes west of WPB)
Explore these two unique and historic "Old Florida" islands
by kayak. Located in the Southeastern region of the lake, near the
sugar cane fields and agricultural towns that dot the shoreline.
Paddlers will see lots of wildlife and wading birds.

An "Old Florida" cypress-lined freshwater creek is waiting
to be explored on the western shore of Lake Okeechobee. Paddlers
enjoy the quiet, pristine beauty as they drift beneath tufts of
Spanish Moss. This is a truly unique experience.
